A social enterprise is defined on WikiPedia as:

A social enterprise is an organization that applies commercial strategies to maximize improvements in human and environmental well-being—this may include maximizing social impact alongside profits for external shareholders.

Though currently focused on the Fresh Start Furniture Program, Found in Faith Ministries will gradually implement a social enterprise model for improved sustainability and increased impact in our community.

Tentative plans include an 18-20,000 square foot warehouse space housing a variety of different programs and services that will profoundly impact the lives of those we serve including:

Found in Faith Organizing and Estate Transitions Service to generate earned-income for the ministry and support the Fresh Start Furniture Program.

A showroom and consignment shop to generate earned-income, serve estate transition clients, and offer a space for our aspiring client entrepreneurs to test the market and sell their one-of-a-kind creations.

Extensive furniture inventory reserved for our Fresh Start Furniture Program, donated graciously by supportive community members and service clients.

Fine arts and construction labs for creative exploration and skill building. Workspaces will double as classrooms for financial literacy and small business/entrepreneurship training.

A community space and café to foster togetherness and encourage interaction

A kids room to overcome the childcare barrier for our program clients to attend classes
