Thank you for donating to the Fresh Start Furniture Program at Found in Faith Ministries. We give unwanted items a new life by passing them along and no cost to local families in need. Your in-kind donations not only provide comfort and a sense of dignity, but are helping to stabilize vulnerable households and end homelessness in Harford County.
Things to know about the Fresh Start Furniture Program:
Pick-up requests: We are able to pick-up but our volunteer transport team has been greatly reduced due to COVID. Our current wait time is 3-6 weeks to schedule. Please list in the comments section of the donation form if you would like to request pick-up.
Urgent requests: The Fresh Start Furniture Program is heavily supported by a small group of committed volunteers who serve regularly to furnish homes in Harford County. For this reason, we cannot always accommodate urgent requests. Please fill out the donation form and list in the comment section the urgent need you have. If attention is needed earlier than our normal response time of 3-5 days, please call 443-519-2464 ext. 2 after submitting the donation form.
Questions about accepted items: Please review our Wishlist for detailed information about specific item inquiries. We may decline your donation offer for several reasons including things like, it does not fit our mission, it is too big or too heavy for our families modest homes, or we do not have available space in our showroom at the time of your offer. If you have a question about a specific item, please be sure to list that in the comment section of the donation form. We are always happy to provide referrals to other organizations if we are unable to accept certain items.
